Lets Get hopping  #13 Theme: Not your standard card Square, tall and skinny or even a circle, the choice is yours. I love making square card. So I decided to share one we made at out Cancer Retreat this year.  Step 1 Base Card: I used Mint Macaron Card and cut at 29.5cm by 14cm. Step 2 Place the 29.5cm to top of Paper trimmer and sore at 14cm then turn card around and score at 14cn Step 3 Line up edge of front card on paper trimmer at 2.5cm Line up the score at the 2.5cm and score down to 11.5cm do all 4 sides. (May need to turn card over to score its ok) Step 4 Line up edge of front card on paper trimmer at 4cm. Line up the score at 4cm score down to 10cm. (You Can use a bone folder instead of the score tool ) Step 5. Working on the back of front card. Mark the outside score square with a pencil in each corner. Line up the two pencil marks to make a cross. Place on the paper trimmer and cut from top right corner to bottom left corner . Should l

On Stage Live Orlando

I was so excited to have booked into On Stage Live Orlando for November 2018 Two of my amazing team are also attending and others booked in for Melbourne. I have only miss one Event in  12 Year and that was 2011 when my Dad past away. I love to attend all Stampin' Up! Events and love to catch up with other Stampers from around the world that I have meet up and become friends with from incentive trips to conventions. Also meet up with Shelli and Sara is amazing its just like one big family. Happy Stamping Teresa x

Lets Get Hoping

Lets Get Hopping Round #12 Do you have a favourite technique? Is it something that you turn to time and time again or is it a technique you like to use on those extra special projects? This month is about our favourite technique and I do turn to masking so much as I love the way you can add two or three stamps set to make a card and it can look like a painting. So what is masking?  Its when you stamp out and image first on your card and also onto some Posty notes. Cut out Posty Note and place over the image as I have with the ute. Then you can build up the background behind your image I have used sponging, and the water from the High Tide Stamp set plus I punch out a circle from a Posty Note and Place on my pitcher where I wonted it, Sponging over the Posty Note first then removing and adding some colour and the birds from the High Tide Stamp set.  I Used a Aqua painter and inks to paint my Ute added some more birds and also sponge and used Aqua painter for g
