Some Card I made for the Great Australian Craft Show in April 2020

the show run for 4 days and it was a lot of work and fun at the same time.
Each day I shared two one hour of making cards and other projects.

Day 2 Class 2 Dino Day
tri fold card measurements
Stamping with Teresa
1. Base Card: 5-1/2” x 10-1/2”
Thick Whisper White Card.
2. Base: Place the 5-1/2” across top of paper trimmer.
3. Line up side of card stock at 1-1/4” ( if using dark card stock slide a piece of white Card so you can see measurements down the side paper trimmer)
4. Start by lining up cutting blade at 1-3/4” cut down to 8-3/4”
5. Do other side the same
6. Line up 10-1/2” side across top of paper trimmer.
“Now we are scoring”
7. Line up at 1/34 score between cut line only.
3-1/2” score whole piece,
7” score whole piece 8-3/8” score between cut line only.
Mat Card: Mossy Meadow is what I used today.
8. Mat card: 5-1/4”x10-1/4”
9. Placing the 5-1/4” across the top of paper trimmer.
10. Line up side of card stock at 1”
11. Start by lining up cutting blade at 1-1/2” cut down to 8-3/4”
12. Do same other side.
13. Placing 10-1/4” across top of paper trimmer line up at
Line up at 1-1/4” cut between the lines each end. (Center piece save for another card)
14 Placing the 10-1/4” across top of paper trimmer.
15. Cut into section of 3-1/4”
Last piece turn and line up and cut at 3-1/4” ( just a bit to long)
16 Top Mat: 10”x 5” Dinoroar DSP (or your choice)
17. Placing the 5” across the top of paper trimmer.
18. Line up at 3/4”
19. Start by lining up cutting blade at 1.1/4” cut down to 8-1/2”
20. Do Same on other Side.
21. Placing the 10” across the
Line up at 1-2/8 cut between the curing line only.
22. Placing the 10”across paper trimmer cut into section
Of 3” last piece turn and cut 3” (just a bit to long)
23. Middle mat: cut one Mossy Meadow at 3-1/4” x 2-3/4”
24. Cut one Whisper White at 3” x 2-1/2” this you will stamp out your sentiment
25. Cut or stamp out dinosaurs and place them around the card as you choose.

Lets Get Hoping

Lets Get Hopping Round #12 Do you have a favourite technique? Is it something that you turn to time and time again or is it a technique you like to use on those extra special projects? This month is about our favourite technique and I do turn to masking so much as I love the way you can add two or three stamps set to make a card and it can look like a painting. So what is masking?  Its when you stamp out and image first on your card and also onto some Posty notes. Cut out Posty Note and place over the image as I have with the ute. Then you can build up the background behind your image I have used sponging, and the water from the High Tide Stamp set plus I punch out a circle from a Posty Note and Place on my pitcher where I wonted it, Sponging over the Posty Note first then removing and adding some colour and the birds from the High Tide Stamp set.  I Used a Aqua painter and inks to paint my Ute added some more birds and also sponge and used Aqua...
