Wow Tip
Bold, Bright Ink Layers? Grab Your VersaMark!
Have you seen scratch art pads? The technique is easy! Simply scratch a pattern into the solid black surface and vibrant colour comes shining through. Today’s Wow Tip is like that, but in reverse—we designed a brilliantly-coloured base and applied dark ink over it, utilising emboss resist to create a dazzling end result. Let’s give it a try!
Step 1: Apply Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party ink to a Basic White Cardstock panel using Blending Brushes; overlap the color to blend.
Step 2: Stamp the images using VersaMark and heat emboss using clear embossing powder.
Step 3: Apply Night of Navy ink using a Blending Brush and wipe away excess ink to reveal the embossed images below.
1, 2, 3, emboss resist!

Tip: Give Baker’s Twine a spritz with Pool Party ink and water to create a coordinating bow. That’s it—with just a few supplies, you can up the wow-factor at your next gathering!
