Update on products and shipping

Hi everyone to help you get the best service please read the below information about products shipping.  Please contact me.
Happy to help TERESA

As you may have heard reported in the news, unprecedented shipping and logistics issues have resulted in a global supply chain crisis. This is affecting businesses world-wide and Stampin’ Up! is no exception. Due to extreme difficulties caused by these issues, starting on 1 December 2021, Stampin’ Up! will no longer take orders for products that are not in stock. In other words, Stampin’ Up! will no longer accept backorders. This change will help to reduce frustrations from unpredictable product availability and allow you to order products that will be delivered right away, rather than products that may not be delivered for months. If you’d ever like to know if a product is available, please check the
(or my) online store Check here The online store is a great resource to browse products, determine availability, and place orders for in-stock items with me. I would love to help you find the right products so you can start creating without waiting!

For customers who currently have outstanding backorders.

As products are received, Stampin’ Up! will fulfil outstanding backorders.

Q: How will I know if something is not orderable?
A: You and your customers can use the online store to check product availability. If you’re looking for a specific item, enter it into the search box (item code is generally the most effective way to search). If the item is not available for order, you will see the product, but it will say that it is currently unavailable and there will be no add to BASKET button. The online store is a great asset when looking for something specific.

If you want to view an overall list of not orderable items, you can access the Inventory Status Report (ISR) on the demonstrator website under Ordering. Any product that is not in stock, but will be restocked, will be listed in the Not Orderable section of the report. These items are either on their way or an order has been placed with our suppliers. The ISR is a good resource if you are trying to plan projects for your business and aren’t sure which items to avoid. To search for a specific item on the ISR, use the search function in the top right corner of the page (again, item code is generally the most effective way to search).

Q: How will I know when the item will be back in stock?
A: If we have a tentative availability date, we will include it on the ISR. Please note, because of the current situation, those dates often change with limited notice.

Q: Will I know if something is on low inventory before it runs out?
A: Check the Low Inventory section on the ISR to view items that are almost out of stock. Please note, if demand is higher than expected for a particular product, it can jump from "Low Inventory” to “Not Orderable” status quickly.

Q: How do I manage these issues with my customers? For example, if a customer gives me an order for a product that is available, but by the time I place the order the product is gone, what do I do?
A: The best solution is to have your customers place their orders with you in the online store. Encouraging customers to place their own orders will allow them to see products immediately available and will prevent situations where product runs out before an order is placed. Directing customers to your online store will also give them an opportunity to browse products they might not otherwise see. As customers become more comfortable, it will save you the time and frustration of going back and forth while placing orders. If customers are ordering as part of a party or class, they can always use a host code to tie that order to the host. Another solution is to have customers give you alternative choices in case something isn’t available when you place the order.

Q: What about my current orders with backordered product? What happens to those?
A: All current orders that include backordered product will still be fulfilled as soon as inventory becomes available.

Q: My customer has been waiting on a backorder that hasn’t arrived and doesn’t want the item anymore. What should I do?
A: Please have your customer contact Demonstrator Support for help.

These are unprecedented times, and we’ve all had to adapt in the face of significant challenges. We appreciate your understanding, support, and partnership as we work to balance demonstrator, customer, and company needs in addressing these shared global concerns.

Kind regards,

Stampin’ Up!
